Painting

yes i am being a bussy bee today as put lots stuff on my webpage. managed to sort some paintings too. so here they are.

So my attendance is low

Started the day with email from uni saying how my attendance is low and I should fill this form in if I been sick wich I obviously havent been , I just kind of lost my concentration on the idea of university again. Its like I am doing the work etc its not like im doing f all . I just find it stupid to spend 15 ponds for 15 minutes of teChing.  Its crazy to my mind , but hey maybe its just me. But besides this I feel like im doing quite ok for change . At least in uni. Even have final work planed and everything . And even more unbalievable I came up with idea for things to sell too . As I love my collor paintings . I thought I could do smallpaintkngs of like flowers and genraly nice things lol . With an s&m ponny trown in here or there  so at least in this . I embRce the new better life. But where it co es to other bits well just need see how its going ..

the s&m pony

At least the pony is painted so just to get hanged on the wall when get in after that the hour to kill till another group critique . Always feel like people are not completely honest with me about my work .instead of saying I don’t like that its extremely offensive just take it off your wall they try to find some weird deep meaning to what’s what . I’m not drawing a fetish pony cos I have weird urge to see dressed up horses , I do it cos the sketch of a gas mask for horses turned out good and I wanted to take it to the next artsy level. but hey according to my art tutors its not good enough to base idea on. I still sometimes wonder have I wasted 3 years of my life with doing a fine art course . In college it was different, I actually felt like I’m learning something where here I’m not too sure I actually have. Besides obviously improving my hatred towards group activities and possibly putting me off ever wanting take part in group exhibition . Pretty sure its not what I’m meant to be learning here . But on the bright note . Its my birth day tomorrow and ill be nice and far away from this hell hole . At least for a day to get my head together . Feeling pleased

working away

so painting done and drying finaly now off to wash brushes and do bit of typing away. 

time to do something

so as am finaly back its time to catch up and do something.  planed a bussy day for my self so should be  a good one. eed do some painting and bits too so see how that goes.  just need kill bit time till train and then be good to go.  will do bits of writing in train so just to type up when home so dnt waist any time.  but feel pretty good tbh.  makes a positive change 🙂

work on the room – window and th side bits that need fixing

finaly had bit moment to do bit on the spear room again so it starting to come together.  this time i wanted to sort the window and all the side bits and bits around the door just get it moving. 

for this i just used some white emulsion form wilkinsons that i had left from last year in uni and just a large brush

as per usual mix the paint up

for this i didnt use a tray just dip the brush in emulsion and paint away

i started ount on the wall with the cards too but i want get it finished before i post about it.  it will take longer than i expected with the cards but im planing to get it done this week so at least the main bits are done. 

work on the spear room -walls

moving on on the walls i thought they are pretty good condition but like there is just like some bits where i have had paint on them or something so i thought i make them a bit more textured and generally bit better looking i thought ill just sponge them over.  as one of the walls will be covered with postcards i left it as it is.  so for this i just got this round funky sponge from a discount store

and the paint that i used is same color as the walls were to start with.  blossom white once again dulux

i just shook the pot a bit and then mixed it up with a stick so its nice and even as it been sittting fir a wile

and just simply start diping the sponge in paint and put i on the wall

i think it gives wall a tiny bit of texture.  i think this would look great too going over with multiple colors.

remember after finishing if you dont use gloves then wash the emulsion off with some warm watter and soap and use some hand cream as emulsion will make your hand ssupper dry

start on the spear room – celling

so i have finnaly finally started in the spear room as this is how im doing it  celling first –

so this is quick kind look of the room.  it is just 1 corner mainly for showing the celling porpuses. as you can see the room was tottaly emptied and all the lights have been taken down.  dont forget to tape down the wires to avoid electric shock. 

next a beautifull look of my self lol.  just say always always cover the hair especialy if painting celling cos that stuff flys right into your hair and its rips everything out and it aint a good look. 

for celling ill be using the jasmine white by dulux.  its the same color i used at the very very start.  always love dulux its good quality stuff not too pricey ither plus i love that like in homebase and like b&q they can mix u up all these magical colors its like heaven land for me lol.  but moving on.  i just got the set of roller from wilkinsons cos well its cheeper than buying just rooll bits them selfs. for celling i think its great to use like 1 the long handled ones but as i broke the one i had i had to stick to the short one and stand on bench like this. ..

in other words dont use chair like this.  its very very very unsafe lol but well we dont really have chairs period so this had to do. 

then just mix up the paint with some stick 

and get rolling. 

in end i did end up bring in a light as it is fall time in the end so gets dark quickly meaning one cant see what one is doing.  but i did finished it and looks lots better as there seemed to be some weird dark lines where now its all nice and in one color.
