Could this count as art?

The art ended when the printers ink ended. So half of the work done and half just hanging about . But in the end at least got a bit done so its all not lost . Started on the color squares for the writing to be added after as want to screen print this too. As per usual. Think cant do anything without screen printing these days . Where before thouht i gona do painting etc. Still do a bit but it doesnt give me the same satisfiction as the screen printing does . Guess i just have grown to it. Over all think be ready for long week jn print room . But time goes quick when your having fun. So defo looking forward to this. Just hope turns out the way wanted .

nightmares depression and diy room vlog

work on the room – picture wall continued

so been continuing on the picture wall.  but sadly i ran out of cards.  i thought the ones i had will be enough but clearly no lol.  this is as far as i got

large area is covered but as you can see there is still a bit to go.  i just gona order bunch cards from ebay again.  and be done in no time.  plus i thought i would fill the areas above doors too

just to kind ow have a bit of runing theme trough the room.  thought that would look nice.   and wile i will wait for the cards i have christmas to go trough and if have spare moment then can do the doors. 

work on the room – the picture wall

so finaly properly started the picture wall.  but sadly i couldnt finish it today as ran out the glue i used but be easy finishing tomarrow. 

this is what i done

i used wilkinsons own all purpose glue.  i tried out pva to start with but it took for forever to dry and cards kept bending so i thought i try this and it worked great

all i done is go over the card couple times  leave it sit and do a couple more same way then go back to first and stick on wall.  then put glue again etc etc

as said i did not finish the whole wall.  this is how far i got

i think its coming together great.  and will look wicked when finished. 

work on the room – window and th side bits that need fixing

finaly had bit moment to do bit on the spear room again so it starting to come together.  this time i wanted to sort the window and all the side bits and bits around the door just get it moving. 

for this i just used some white emulsion form wilkinsons that i had left from last year in uni and just a large brush

as per usual mix the paint up

for this i didnt use a tray just dip the brush in emulsion and paint away

i started ount on the wall with the cards too but i want get it finished before i post about it.  it will take longer than i expected with the cards but im planing to get it done this week so at least the main bits are done. 

work on the spear room -walls

moving on on the walls i thought they are pretty good condition but like there is just like some bits where i have had paint on them or something so i thought i make them a bit more textured and generally bit better looking i thought ill just sponge them over.  as one of the walls will be covered with postcards i left it as it is.  so for this i just got this round funky sponge from a discount store

and the paint that i used is same color as the walls were to start with.  blossom white once again dulux

i just shook the pot a bit and then mixed it up with a stick so its nice and even as it been sittting fir a wile

and just simply start diping the sponge in paint and put i on the wall

i think it gives wall a tiny bit of texture.  i think this would look great too going over with multiple colors.

remember after finishing if you dont use gloves then wash the emulsion off with some warm watter and soap and use some hand cream as emulsion will make your hand ssupper dry

first sketch

Just did a tiny tiny sketch for the spear room just to make it bit more clear how I imagen it make it bit my project for next couple months or so. Made little list of what will need to finish room for walls and for decor . It think it could go good at least make lovely room in end if notting else and just freshen up the place a bit . 🙂 . Just hope it doesn’t cost too much . Even thinking about blasting in a vintage chair or something would be good . Feel very exited about it . 🙂

I know I just gave up on my 30 day challenge but I am determined to get my art mojo back . So I was sitting here alone in the spear room of the house thinking when I was little kid I wanted be an interior designer as I always wanted a beautifull outstanding house . So I thought why not give my ideas a try and make something out of spear room and make it bedroom slash living area for when 1 of us wants just hang out or there is people visiting I think it be great as have quite few ideas and I’m eve doing some sketches for it too so see how it goes and ill keep the up dates up so people can see and tell me am I doing it good or not lol .

So my loveing boyfriend bought me 1 them panoramic posters of london view of westminster and big ben and westminster bridge even a little red london bus there too . So as have no room on walls I put it on my celling so so beautifull god I miss london mmmm
